Hell Gate Bridge, New York | Summer, 2015. This photograph was taken at sunset on the East River underneath the Hell Gate bridge in Astoria, Queens looking towards the RFK bridge with Manhattan skyline in the background. It's called the Hell Gate bridge for the history of the treacherous waters that caused ships to sink in that part of the river.
